Medicaid Pediatric Dentist Near You
A patient’s Medicaid insurance provides dental services to their clients. The kind of insurance a patient has determines which dentist they can go to. We accept several Medicaid plans at our office.
Certain insurances may allow patients to get exams, treatments, and procedures at the dental office with co payments or no cost at all. If your Medicaid insurance can cover all or part of your child’s dental service, our office will help you file a claim.
You may need to bring your identification card to your first appointment. Just tell a member of the front desk which insurance plan you have, and any other needed information. CDH staff can also help determine whether or not your insurance covers any service the DDS will be performing during your child’s visit, as well as letting you know of any copayment that you may need to pay.
Medicaid Dental Insurance
Medicaid is the primary dental coverage provider for low income adults. Medicaid offers health care coverage to certain low income individuals, including children and parents, elders, pregnant women, and individuals with disabilities. Although coverage for dental services for adults is optional for states, it is federally required for state Medicaid programs to cover comprehensive children’s dental services. Some states provide more comprehensive dental coverage for adults, and some only offer emergency dental services, or no dental coverage at all.
