Dr. Elan Kaufman and the staff of the Children’s Dental Home are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jesse Wright to the Pediatric and Orthodontics team. Dr. Jesse Wright is a specialist, dual trained in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Dual-specialization is quite rare amongst dental practitioners. He has completed four years of advanced post-graduate education and residencies after completing dental school. This rigorous training now allows him to provide exceptional holistic dental care for kids and adolescents throughout their stages of growth, and helps him give patients excellent smiles and oral health. We are proud to have Dr. Wright join our team.
Dr. Wright graduated from Princeton University for his undergraduate education. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Omega dental honor society. After graduating with Honors Dr. Wright then completed his post-doctoral residency in the Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry Program at Lutheran Medical Center. He then entered and completed his second residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU Langone.
Dr. Wright is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, and Second District Dental Society. He has been active in organized dentistry, and has served as Vice President, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian of his dental school. Dr. Wright also served as a representative on the Council of Students, Residents, and Fellows for the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Wright has gone on dental mission trips to Jamaica, and often participates in volunteer oral health screenings and fairs. He is fluent in Spanish.
